I’m 19 and I grew up Catholic, but I’m realizing I don’t actually know how to live the faith beyond “go to Mass when you can.” I’m in college now, away from home, and it’s easy to drift. I want to take God seriously, but I also feel awkward because I don’t have many Catholic friends, and I’m not sure what’s “normal” spiritually for someone my age.
I struggle with consistency (prayer one week, then nothing), and I feel pulled in a lot of directions: social life, dating, anxiety about the future, and honestly a lot of noise online. If you could give one or two pieces of advice to a young Catholic who wants to actually grow—without becoming weird or judgmental—what would you say?
